    What this connector does

    • Sync Salesforce accounts, contacts, opportunities, and tasks into Atlas Growth.
    • Reflect opportunity stage and owner changes across both systems after mapping approval.
    • Attach Atlas updates to Salesforce records as activities.
    • Subscribe to platform events so dashboards stay live.

    Before you begin

    • You are a System Administrator in the Salesforce org.
    • API access is enabled for your edition (Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, or Developer).
    • You have a sandbox org for first validation.

    Get your credentials

    Open Setup, App Manager

    Sign in to Salesforce as a system admin and open Setup, App Manager. Create a connected app

    Create a Connected App

    Click New Connected App. Name it Atlas Connector and enable OAuth Settings.

    Add the Atlas callback URL

    Set Callback URL to https://YOUR-ATLAS-HOST/oauth/callback/salesforce.

    Select OAuth scopes

    Add the scopes listed below and save. Salesforce may take up to 10 minutes to propagate.

    Copy the consumer key and secret

    Click Manage Consumer Details to copy the Consumer Key and Consumer Secret into the Atlas Salesforce connector settings page.

    Setup checklist

    1. Create the provider app in a sandbox or development workspace.
    2. Add the Atlas redirect URL to the provider app configuration.
    3. Copy the client id, client secret, or API key.
    4. Paste the credentials into the Atlas connector settings page.
    5. Click Connect and complete the provider sign-in screen.
    6. Run Test connection from the connector page to verify health.

    Troubleshooting

    • invalid_grant after Salesforce password reset

      Salesforce invalidates refresh tokens on password change. Reconnect from Atlas.

    • OAUTH_APP_BLOCKED

      The org admin restricted this connected app. Open Manage Connected Apps and set Permitted Users to All users may self-authorize.

    • Insufficient privileges

      The connected user lacks profile access to the object. Update the profile or use a higher-privilege user.

    Webhooks

    Atlas subscribes to Salesforce Platform Events or change data capture channels and validates the replay id and signature.

    Disconnect and data deletion

    1. Click Disconnect on the Atlas Salesforce connector page.
    2. Open Setup, Connected Apps OAuth Usage, find Atlas Connector, and click Revoke.
    3. Atlas removes cached Salesforce object metadata within 24 hours of disconnect.

    Once you have the credentials above, paste them into the live connector page to finish connecting Salesforce.
