    Daily briefing

Your day, written as a short script you can read or have read to you.

    Open module/briefing
    personalai-native

    Overview

Daily briefing takes what today actually holds, which is your tasks, your calendar and your habits, and writes it as a short piece of plain English rather than three lists to reconcile in your head. The same script is on the screen as text and can be spoken aloud by your browser, so it works while you are making coffee and equally while you are skimming it at a desk. It is a reading of the day rather than a place to act, which is deliberate: nothing here changes a task, so it can be listened to without attention.

    Highlights

The capabilities worth knowing before you dive in.

    • Today's tasks, calendar and habits written as one short script rather than three lists
    • Spoken aloud by the browser, so it works while your hands are busy
    • The same script always rendered as text, so speech is an option rather than a requirement
    • A clear advisory when the browser cannot speak, instead of a control that silently does nothing

    Important to know

Limits, permissions, and sharp edges to keep in mind.

    • Speech uses your browser rather than a service. Nothing is sent anywhere to be spoken, and the available voices are your device's.
    • A browser without speech support still shows the whole script. The controls swap to an advisory rather than disappearing.
    • The briefing reads and never writes. Listening to it does not mark, schedule or complete anything.
    • It covers today. It is not a plan for the week, and it does not replace the weekly review.

    How to use it

The primary workflow, start to finish.

    1. 1Open Daily briefing in the morning.
    2. 2Read the script, or press play and listen to it.
    3. 3Act in the modules it names. The briefing tells you the shape of the day and deliberately does nothing to it.

    FAQ

Is my day sent somewhere to be read aloud?
No. Speech happens in your browser using your device's voices. Nothing about your day leaves Atlas to be spoken.
My browser has no play control. Why?
Because it does not support speech. The full script is still on the page, and the controls swap to an advisory rather than pretending to work.
Can I act from the briefing?
No, deliberately. It reads and never writes, which is what makes it safe to listen to while doing something else.

    Automate this module

Everything on this screen is scriptable. Drive it from the REST API, or let an AI agent run it through the MCP server.
